COMPILED FROM MINUTES
In the regular monthly meeting of the Patton SpringsIndependentSchool District board of trustees on October 9, Superintendent Bryan White provided bond election material and information to be mailed out and the date for the town hall meeting to present information to the public.
He also reported on enrollment and attendance, awards and honors, school activities, maintenance, school safety, transportation and housing.
In other board action, trustees unanimously approved the following: an updated housing agreement; the TASB deductible buy-down for 2023-2024; the SHAC-Summer Mandate Letter and GKC interlocal agreement.
In other action, the board voted unanimously to appoint Clayt Bridge as the ISD’s representative on the Dickens County Appraisal District board.
Upon recommendation by Superintendent Bryan White and Principal Sandra Ramirez, the board voted unanimously to hire Amethyst Pemberton, Probationary, subject to assignment beginning January 4, 2024 through May 24, 2024.
The board then adjourned into executive session. Following a closed meeting, no action was taken.
Board members in attendance were Gary Bridge, Clayt Bridge, David Keith and Ernest Ramirez. Board members Shane Roberts, Lana Burson and Ronda Dalton were absent. Superintendent Bryan White, Business Manager Becky Hodges and Principal Sandra Ramirez were in attendance.
