In a called meeting Monday, June 30, at 9 a.m. in the school administrative offices, Patton Springs ISD Superintendent Bryan White reported on the July and August regular and special board meeting dates, as well as a timeline for the November 7, 2023 Bond/General Election.
The district held a vote in May to consider a bond issue supporting school security and improvement measures. The May election failed in close voting on two propositions.
Board member Lana Burson took the oath of office, and the board approved hiring Justin Stone, subject to assignment, on a probationary contract for the 2023-2034 school year.
In other business, the June regular meeting minutes were approved, as was the 2023-2024 Stipend list with the additional “Train the Trainer” Bus Driving training and course completion.
Following a closed meeting, no action was taken.
