David Matthew Reyna, valedictorian of the Patton Springs High School graduating class of 2021, was selected to receive the Happy State Bank Scholarship in the amount of $200 and the Ralph Marshall Scholarship in the amount of $250 per semester.
Reyna, the son of Lori Sanchez and the late Jose Sanchez of Afton, plans to attend Texas Tech University.
He was presented the honors by principal Sandra Ramirez (center) and superintendent Bryan White (left).
