The Patton Springs Rangers traveled to Matador last Thursday night, October 14, to face off against the number one six-man football team in the state.
The Rangers would come out, though small in number, big in heart, while the Motley County Matadors would do their part to defend the home front.
At the 3:00 mark of the 1st quarter, Motley head coach Mike Bigham and his Matadors put up 35 points while holding the Rangers at 0.
The Rangers refused to quit or back down as senior #21 Ralph Garza would try to rally his team to score.
While there were several moments where Garza and his fellow Rangers would break away, the Matadors would keep them from scoring throughout the night.
The Game would come to a quick close at half with a score of Motley County 66, Patton Springs 0.
The Rangers will look to go head to head against Southland this week on Friday night at 7:30.
