COMPILED FROM MINUTES
In the regular meeting of the Patton Springs Independent School District on January 15, 2024, a transition was conducted between Superintendent Bryan White and principal Sandra Ramirez who was named interim superintendent.
White reported on enrollment and attendance and student and employee awards and honors. White presented certificates to each board member honoring their service and reported on current maintenance and transportation. White also presented the 20222023 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR).
After discussion, Clayt Bridge made the motion to appoint Sandra Ramirez as interim superintendent and authorize the board president to finalize and execute the Employment Agreement for Interim Superintendent as presented. Shane Roberts made the second; the motion passed.
Becky Hodges presented the Quarterly Investment report for September 1, 2023 to November 30, 2023.
In other action Ernest Ramirez made the motion to approve the Resolution-USDA Rural Development funding. Clayt Bridge made the second. The motion passed.
Attending the regular board meeting were board members Gary Bridge, Shane Roberts, Clayt Bridge and Ernest Ramirez. David Keith, Ronda Dalton and Lana Burson were absent.
Superintendent Bryan White, Principal Sandra Ramirez and Business Manager Becky Hodges were also present. Guest Louise Sims was also present.
