Attendance for last week’s scramble was a bit lower than it has been in quite some time. I attribute it to the cooler temperature and weather. We do appreciate all those who came out to participate. Four teams were randomly formed and two places were paid out.
Taking home first place was the team of Wes Joplin, Mike Day and Sue Starkey with 4 under par and a score of 32.
Coming back the clubhouse tied with 1 under par and a score of 35 was the team of Felix Servin, Justin Posey and Jason Tanner and the team of Floyd Starkey, Janie Day and Cammie Walker. Drawing off of the scorecard to determine the winner, the team of Starkey, Day and Walker prevailed to take home the secondplace money for the week.
The No. 8 hole contest was certainly interesting last week. Daniel Perez and Wes Joplin both landed their drives on the green 39 feet 9 inches from the cup! They decided to split the winnings. Way to go, guys!
The Hole No. 1 money pot , once again, will roll over and grow.
The 2022 Golf Scramble Tuesday season will be coming to an end on November 1.
