The Tuesday evening golf scramble on April 19, 2022 was a touch on the breezy and chilly side, which resulted in a somewhat low turnout. Four teams were formed, with two places being paid out.
The team of Seth McMinn, Landon White, Larry Bass and Riley Abbott came in first place with 5 under par and a score of 31.
The team of Ralph Frausto, Freddy Gonzalez, Don Kaneski, Ronnie Hill and Andrew Bateman along with the team of Mike Day, Richard Lewis, Eddie and Lesli Clark tied with 3 under par and a score of 33, resulting in a scorecard playoff. Going down the scorecard starting at Hole No. 1, the team of Frausto, Gonzalez, Kaneski and Bateman won with their Hole No. 4 birdie taking home second place!
Congratulations to Mike Day for his closest to the pin on No. 8. Mike had a beautiful shot off the tee box and ended up 1’6” from the hole. Way to go, Mike!
The scrambles are a lot of fun to participate in and are held each Tuesday evening. Tee-off is at 5:30 p.m. The fees are $10 for nonmembers and $5 for members. They are a great and easy way socialize and get to know other people in the community. You might even be able to relieve some stress. So come on out and join the fun!
