South Plains College to offer drone pilot licensing course starting Feb. 6

STAFF REPORTS South Plains College’s Continuing Education and Workforce Development will offer a Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 Drone Pilot Licensing Course from Feb. 6 through May 1.

The class will meet on Mondays from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in Building Six at the SPC Reese Center campus in Lubbock. The cost of the 13-week course is $432, which includes tuition, drone with 480p camera/video and the FAA Part 107 Exam Fee. The class will be taught by a licensed FAA Part 107 instructor.
