LEVELLAND—South Plains College congratulates the more than 1,300 students who received their academic degree or certificate on May 13, 2022. The following students from Spur and Jayton earned degrees and certificates:
Wyatt McCormick of Spur graduated with an AAS in diesel service technology and a Diesel Technology Certificate–Equipment.
Wylie McCormick of Spur graduated with an AAS in diesel service technology and a Diesel Technology Certificate –Equipment.
Melinda Mendez of Spur graduated with an AAS in office administration and an Accounting Certificate.
Paden Shafer of Spur graduated with an AA in criminal justice.
Luke Smithey of Spur graduated with a IMET Certificate–Basic .
Kloe Thomas of Jayton graduated with an AS in general studies.
South Plains College is a comprehensive, two-year community college that serves the greater South Plains area of Texas with innovative educational programs that span the arts and sciences, technical education, continuing education and workforce development. Serving a 13-county area that comprises the southern portion of the Texas High Plains, the college's main campus is located in Levelland. SPC also offers educational programs at two locations in Lubbock (the SPC Lubbock Center and the SPC Reese Center) as well as an extension center in Plainview.
