VETERANS DAY OBSERVANCE in Spur involved the 5th graders from Pat Hightower’s class setting flags out at the graves of military veterans, and holding a patriotic program in the school auditorium. Participating this year was veteran Cody Schmidt, who first participated in one of Spur’s annual Veterans Day programs when was a 5th grader himself, and returned to take part this year. | COURTESY PHOTOS
