Six Business Professionals Association members from Spur High School joined students from Plainview, Floydada, Paducah, Tulia, Crosbyton, Frenship and Sanford-Fritch for the Area 4/ Region 1 Regional Leadership Conference Saturday, Jan. 25. Two business sessions and event contests took place at Plainview High School in Plainview.
Tessah Adams earned 2nd place in Advanced Word Processing; Tessah Adams and Paige Bonham, 2nd place, Presentation Management Team; Paige Bonham, 1st place, Presentation Management Individual; Madison Givens, 1st place, Prepared Speech; Madison Givens and Tristen Martin, 1st place, Economic Research Project Team; Tristen Martin, 1st place, Economic Research Project Individual; and Laney Weiser, 2nd place, Interview Skills.
All six members have advanced to state competition in eight contests which will take place at the Downtown Dallas Sheraton, March 4–7, 2020, in Dallas.
