According to Spur High School coach Tate Clark, numerous student-athletes on the 2019 varsity football squad were recognized with Honorable Mentions in Region I six-man 1A-D1, while four made Second Team. Cory Hamilton, as Newcomer of the Year for the region, will be moving on to the All-State meeting with the possibility of being the Newcomer of the state.
