Hometown: I have been a resident of Spur all of my life.
Education: I am a graduate of Spur High School, class of 2004.
Occupation: I am a Certified Nurse Assistant at Kent County Nursing Home.
Family: I am married to Willie Ortiz Jr. We have three beautiful children, Olivia, Willie III and Pablo, and a dog, Gus.
Key campaign messages: (1) I am a Christian, patient, honest, reliable, and hard-working woman. (2) I am looking to better our community as a whole. (3) I am not afraid to speak my mind, because I’m a leader, not a follower.
What areas of public policy or community issues matter most to you? One of my most important goals is to improve our city parks for our children and community. I plan to look into ways to better infrastructure and streets. I would also like to look into possibly lowering our city taxes. In closing I appreciate your vote and support, “where family is everything.”

Education: I graduated high school in Hastings. Since then, I have attained a medical assisting diploma, a CNA certificate, and several hours of college education.
Occupation: Teacher’s aide at Spur ISD
Family: Married to Michael Price Sr. We have six children together and 11 grandchildren.
Interests: I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and friends.
Key campaign messages: (1) To maintain and improve upon the infrastructure of Spur while remaining fiscally responsible. (2) To carefully consider all items that come before the City Council, gather information and make the best decision for those that I represent. (3) To serve with honesty and integrity.
What areas of public policy or community issues matter most to you? I will do my best to make all decisions with the best interest of Spur in mind. Michael and I chose Spur to be our home and I would be honored to be chosen to serve Spur.
