it was at SGA! We had several members come out to participate in the Club Championship tournament. Winning the title for the Senior women was Janie Day. Taking home the title for the Senior Men’s division was Floyd Starkey. Club member Tobi Abbott is this year’s Women’s Division Champion, with Tyler Luke claiming the Men’s Division title. Congratulations, everyone.
A meal of brisket, beans and all the fixings was provided following the tournament, and the annual member meeting was held. Ron Young is the newest SGA board member, taking the position previously held by Landon White. We welcome Ron to the board. We also want to thank Landon for his previous two years of service to the board. Charla Parsons was re-elected to the board and will continue to serve us for the next two years.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has supported the Spur Golf Association throughout this season with tournaments, fundraisers, scrambles and so many other things. We could not continue to have the course and provide a place of enjoyment that we have without the support of the community. Thank you all!
