The first Tuesday evening scramble of the season on April 5 was a smidge on the breezy side! Four teams were formed for play. The team of Seth McMinn, Tate Clark and Don Kaneski won first place with a score of 31. The team of Russell and Dana Conrad and Norman Hill and the team of Jason Tanner, Richard Lewis, Wes Joplin and Justin Posey both shot a 34, resulting in a playoff taking place. The team of Jason Tanner, Richard Lewis, Wes Joplin and Justin Posey won the playoff with an eagle on hole #1. Also, congratulations to Seth McMinn, who got closest to the pin on #8. The Tuesday evening scrambles are expected to resume on April 19.
The aerating and sanding of the greens took place on April 8 and 9. Thank you to Jason Tanner, Riley Abbott, Tyler Luke, Landon White, Freddy Gonzales, Reid Arnold, Justin Posey, Wes Joplin and Derek Ninneman for volunteering their time to help get this job completed. Thank you to Mike Day and Robert Daughtry for the use of their tractors. Thank you to Woodie McArthur for help and arranging for sand to be brought in. A special thank you to Roaring Springs Ranch Club for the use of their equipment. A BIG thank you to RSRC employee Cody Preston, for supervising the aerating and sanding. The Association truly appreciates it.
Raffle tickets are now available from any Board member and Association members for a 2022 Club Car Onward. Tickets are $100 each. The drawing will be held on Saturday, September 24 following the golf tournament. Also, being raffled off for 2nd and 3rd prizes are a Ping G425 Max driver and Odyssey White Hot putter. Winners need not be present to win.
