There will be a special Farmers’ Market Saturday, Oct. 2 to complement Homecoming festivities. Market events get underway at 9 a.m. at Rickels Park and go until parade time.
Vendors need to come set up no later than 8 a.m. Vendors signed up to date include:

•Becky Mathews, soft-serve and scooped ice cream
• Gloria Pesina and family, menudo, barbacoa, tamales and more
• Smoke Addictz BBQ, turkey legs, fajita tacos, fresh squeezed lemonade
• Two Tired Teachers, BBQ, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, brisket mac and more.
• Shea Rose, car charms, dogs treat and more
• Randi Chisum, dog treats
• Becky Torres, Scentsy
• Taylor Howerton, candles • Kyra Kincaid, tumblers,

• Evelyn Mathewson, embroidered caps
The Palace Theater, across Burlington Avenue, will be open to provide restroom facilities, and The Texas Spur will be open to sell coffee, newspapers and memorabilia.
