In the monthly meeting of the Spur Independent School District board on September 26, 2022, Principal Jose Molina presented the board with the elementary report and Principal David Burton presented the board with the secondary report. In other action, trustees unanimously approved the Business Office Administrative Procedures Manual for the 20222023 school year. The board also unanimously approved the Spur ISD Federal Grant Policies and Procedures Manual for 2022-2023 school year. Trustees then authorized SISD administration to procure two passenger-type vehicles and to bring the resulting contract to purchase such vehicle(s) to the board at a future board meeting for final action. The board approved the Spur ISD 2022-2023 ESL District Improvement Plan unanimously.
Members present were president Barry Ferguson and trustees Roy Sanchez, Pat Ortiz, Andrew Adams, Terri Wyatt, Matt Humphreys and Casey Smith. Others present were superintendent Craig Hamilton, high school principal David Burton, elementary principal Jose Molina, business manager Jodi Martinez, superintendent secretary April Ortiz, and Tanya Phillips.
