The Spur Bulldogs varsity basketball team won three of their last five games to earn a berth in the postseason playoffs. At press time, they were scheduled to take on Lorenzo for the bi-district game Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. in Post.
The Jayton Jaybirds, the district champion, were slated to face Petersburg Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at Lubbock Roosevelt.
The other two teams in the District 5-1A playoffs— Guthrie and Paducah—are also set to play on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Paducah was to face Crosbyton Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Floydada and Guthrie was to take O’Donnell Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. at Lubbock Roosevelt.
