WICHITA FALLS—Pecos Smith and Tripp Scott represented the Jayton Jaybirds athletic program this weekend at the TSMCA All-Star games in Wichita Falls at Midwestern University.
Smith played football on Friday night at Memorial Stadium.
Scott played basketball on Saturday afternoon at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
Scott was coached this week by 2011 Jayton graduate Garrett Watson, who will be in his third year at Valley High School in Turkey-Quitaque in 2021–22.
Cara Paschall, representing the Spurettes basketball squad, was selected for the West All-Stars, who also played Saturday afternoon at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

• TSMCA Division II Football West All-Stars defeated East D-II Football All-Stars East 38–34. Jayton’s Pecos Smith selected as Offensive MVP.
• TSMCA Basketball girls game, played Saturday, July 17: West 100, East 66. Spur’s Cara Paschall scored for West.
• TSMCA Basketball boys game, played Saturday, July 17: East defeated West 64– 55. Jayton’s Tripp Scott played for West.
