The officers of the Spur Police Department responded to a total of 9 calls for service during the week from Nov. 28 to Dec. 3, 2021:
1 theft
1 warrant service
1 injury to the elderly
1 unwanted subject
1 information call
3 welfare checks
1 chiId custody issue
The department conducted four traffic stops, issuing 4 warnings and zero citations and made one arrest.
The Police Department is continuing to work on several active cases which will require more investigation, and is continuing to monitor several traffic locations on which they have received complaints.
The department would like to thank all of the citizens and local businesses who have donated to the “Santa Red and Blue” drive, according to Chief Billy R. Spears. Donations will continue to be accepted through Dec. 20, 2021.
