As reported by Chief Billy R. Spears at the February Spur city council meeting, the officers of the Spur Police Department responded to 42 calls for service in the month of January, 2022.
The calls were as follows: Fire 1; Family violence 2; Meeting 1; City ordinance violations 2; Escort 1; Internet scam 2; Information 8; Traffic accidents 1; Welfare checks 5; CPS 3; Thefts 2; Assault family violence (impede breath) 1; Fraud 1; Animal control 1; Lift assist 2; Criminal mischief 2; Criminal trespass 4; Alarm 1; Warrant service 1; Disturbance 1.
These calls produced four offenses, one felony case, one warrant arrest and a total of two arrests.
