In its monthly report to the Spur City Council March 21, Spur Police Chief Billy R. Spears reported 30 calls for service during February 2023. These calls were as follows: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, 1; Alarm, 1; Assault, 2; Burglary of Motor Vehicle, 1; Civil, 2; CPS, 2; Disorderly Conduct, 1; EMS Assist, 1; Escort, 1; Family violence, 1; Forgery, 1; Information, 3; Lift Assist, 1; Livestock, 1; Patrol Request, 1; Property Dispute, 1; Suicidal Subject, Theft, 1; Traffic, 1; Unwanted Guest, 1; Welfare Checks, 5.
These calls led to one felony arrest and three misdemeanor arrests by the officers of the Spur Police Department.
