A Spur teacher was one of eight teachers across the South Plains to win a South Plains Electric Cooperative Operation Round Up Teacher Mini-Grant.
Myles Hammack of Spur ISD was awarded a grant to support work on the school greenhouse garden project.
Other recipients were Melanie Braune, Frenship ISD;Anjanette Franklin, Slaton ISD; Amie Little, Ropesville ISD; Casey Mayo, Ralls ISD; Kellie Victory, Southcrest Christian School; Cynthia Walden, Cotton Center; Joan Wilson, Triumph Public High School.
