The Spur varsity Bulldogs track team and the varsity Spurettes track team both finished as District runners-up at the District track meet Friday in Jayton.
Twenty-one athletes advance to Area competition.
Area qualifiers for the boys are Gunnir Bateman, Cory Hamilton, Margarito Pesina, Josh Ortiz, Ryan Davis, Preston Abbott, Ace Walker, JD Hamilton, Adrian Garza-West, Max Van Kooten and Kayden Martinez.
Area qualifiers for the girls are Bucki Smith, Addison Fulmer, Emmy Swaringen, Erin McGalliard, Kimberlee Segura, Chelsea Davis, Tatum Walker, Laney Weiser, Madi Holcomb and Allee Hamilton.
