Continuing a tradition of several years in Spur, the Spur Area Chamber of Commerce invites community members of all ages and neighborhoods to a free picnic dinner in Swenson Park Tues., October 5, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. Hot dogs with all the fixins will be served at the Pavillion.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. In Spur this year, the county sheriff’s office and local fire department volunteers have been invited.
Chamber president Matt McArthur encouraged residents, “Come meet your neighbors and first responders for Spur and Dickens County.”
