The varsity girls had a tight race with Guthrie for the district championship, but stepped up and won the district title led by Bucki Smith as the overall girls district champion.
Paige Gonzalez finished 4th, Cara Paschall 8th, Brianna Robles 11th, Tristen Martin 12th, Abby Rodriguez 14th and Alyssa Fulmer 19th.
The varsity boys had a tight race of their own with Jayton. They were able to get it done and bring home the district title, led by Jorden Zarate who was the overall boys champion.
Zage Barron finished 4th, Luke Smithey 6th, Craig Leary 11th, Zek Moseley 14th, Liam Horn 22nd and Wyatt McCormick 24th.
The JV girls and JV boys brought home district titles as well.
Ravaya Kuenstler was the JV girls district champion followed by Savanah Olivarez in 2nd, Mallory Leary 3rd, Audrey Pafford 5th, Nia Tagle 7th, Anna Garza 8th, Kacee Bradford 9th, Laney Weiser 10th, Jezaray Walker 11th and Emily Molina 12th.
Garrett McCormick was the JV boys district champion, followed by William Hancock in 3rd, Eoin Horn in 4th, Kolbey Adams 5th and Wylie McCormick 17th.
The junior high finished out the season on a high note with some personal bests.
Allee Hamilton led the JH girls with a 7th place finish, followed by Emmy Swaringen in 15th, Tori Childers in 17th and Tatum Walker in 21st.
Zech Moseley led the JH boys with an 8th place finish, followed by J.D. Hamilton in 9th, Preston Abbott in 10th and Haden Howell in 11th.
Regionals will be October 28 in San Angelo.
