The Spurette cross country team may only consist of five, but they are ready to compete as a team for the Regional meet on October 23, 2023 at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.
Last Wednesday, the Spurettes competed as a team for the third time this season. Through injuries and sickness, the girls competed as individuals for majority of the preseason. At the District meet, the Spurettes team placed third, qualifying for the Regional Meet. Allee Hamilton placed 8th as an individual at district, qualifying as a top ten individual runner as well. The Spurette team consists of the following participants: Allee Hamilton (senior), Olivia Ortiz (sophomore), Erin McGalliard (sophomore), Saegan Molina (freshman), and Weslyn Givens (freshman).
