The Spurettes girls varsity track team was the runner-up at last Friday’s Golden Spur Relays, finishing second only to Aspermont.
In girls high school competition, team points totals were Aspermont, with 151; Spur, with 111; Loop, with 99; Valley, with 54; Rotan, with 52; Lorenzo, with 35; Motley County, with 28; KPA, with 18; and Crosbyton, with 13.
For boys, the Valley High School team tied with Lockney for the top spot. Team points totals, from highest, were Lockney, with 106 and Valley, with 106 each; Motley County, with 91; Spur, with 74; KPA, with 55.5; Aspermont, with 46; Crosbyton, with 35; Rotan, with 35; Lorenzo, with 19; and Loop, with 14.5.
