After a year of closures, no in-person interpretive events, and uncertainty due to Covid-19, Caprock Canyons State Park is back to offering full services, including events, fishing, camping and more. Summer is chock full of opportunities for families to get outdoors and learn about nature.

Learn about how the bison provided people in the past with everything they needed for survival during this visual presentation with authentic bison paraphernalia.
Music in the Park, featuring “The Dirt Storm Drifters”
Saturday, July 03, 2021 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Drift on over to Caprock to hear a mixture of some good music.
No matter your taste in music, you're sure to find something you like with this band. The Dirt Storm Drifters will have you tapping your foot to a mixture of folk, country, and Americana with some rock stirred in for spice! This event is free with your paid park entrance fee.
Caprock Van Tour Sat, July 10, 2021 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
There's even more to Caprock Canyons State Park than just what meets the eye. Join the interpreter for a guided vehicle tour in the park van to discover more of Caprock Canyons State Park from its history, geology, and more. Space is limited so reservations are required. Please call the park at (806) 455-1492 to reserve your spot. Reservations are required. Tour is free with your paid park entrance fee.
