BELATED VALENTINE’S DAY FUN
At the Hotel Turkey, big plans were in the works for BBQ Sunday and Prime Rib Dinner for Feb. 14, but after Mother Nature had her way, the event was moved to Sunday, Feb. 21. With temperatures expected to be in the relatively balmy 50s, it sounds like a much nicer weekend to enjoy a romantic room at the historic hotel and a meal in the dining room or sunroom. Still, the hotel reported on its Facebook page last weekend, “Despite the yucky weather we had a pretty great night at Hotel Turkey [on Saturday]. Dave and Carley were on point and lots of fun. Thanks everyone for coming out. Please be safe and keep warm the next few days.”
