THE SPUR BOOSTER CLUB will be holding its Athletic Banquet on Tuesday, May 11, at 6 p.m. Each athlete will receive a ticket for themselves and two additional guests. There are extra tickets available for purchase. To pick up or purchase your tickets, please see Mrs. Shobert in the Spur High School office.
DICKENS COUNTY 4-H HOURSE CLUB PLAYDAYS are set for Saturdays May 15, May 29 and June 12, with books open at 9 a.m. and activities starting at 10 a.m. Four age divisions are Lead Line (6 and under), PeeWee (8 and under), Junior (ages 9–12) and Senior (ages 13–18). June 19 will be a rain date if needed. Members must participated in at least two playdays to be eligible for prizes. Dickens County 4-H will provide a concession stand. JGISD PRE-K SIGN-UP May 12, 4 to 5 p.m., Mask Required, must bring. Children registering for pre-K must be 4 years old, on or before September 1, 2020. Adults must bring for child: social security card, birth certificate and shot record. Adult must bring their driver's license. For more information, call (806) 237-2991.
