Shenandoah to appear at Coyote Store May 14
GAIL—Shenandoah, a country music band has which charted 26 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including the Number One hits “The Church on Cumberland Road,” “Sunday in the South” and “Two Dozen Roses,” will appear at the Coyote Store in Gail on Saturday, May 14.

SCURRY
Snyder senior center fundraiser set for May 7
SNYDER—The Scurry County senior center will have a fundraiser at the Scurry County Coliseum Saturday, May 7 featuring a barbecue dinner by the Exxon/Mobil/Oxy Cooking Team. Events get underway at 2:30 p.m. with entertainment by the Studio 92 Dancers.
A cake and pie auction is set for 3:15 p.m., followed by more entertainment, the Kitchen Band at 4:00 p.m. and Lori Sealy at 4:30 p.m. Barbecue will be served from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and tickets can be purchased early or at the door.
Take out plates are available. Barbecue is $10 a plate. The quilt auction will be at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the event is free, and booths open at 2 p.m.

Crosby Quilting and Sewing Club to meet May 14
CROSBYTON--The Quilting and Sewing Club of Crosby County will meet May 14 at the Crosby Pioneer Museum from 1 to 4 p.m. to sew pillowcases for children at Covenant Children's Hospital.
The goal is to complete 50 pillowcases. Bring yourself, your sewing machine, and a friend. Everyone is welcome! Call (806) 252-6215 for details.
