New barber shop opens in Ralls

RALLS—A new barbershop has opened in downtown Ralls, and last week the Ralls Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Main Street Barber Shop: Haircuts and Shaves.

Located at 815 Main Street, the shop will offer haircuts, fades, tapers, hot lather shaves and women’s haircuts.

Pet vaccination clinic in Matador May 19

MATADOR—The Motley 4-H Club and Dr. David Fuston from Childress Veterinarian Clinic will be sponsoring a Rabies Vaccination and Flea and Tick Dip Clinic on Thursday, May 19 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Matador Volunteer Fire Department on the courthouse square.

Costs are: rabies vaccination, $10; parvo and distemper shot, $20; flea and tick dip FREE (donations welcome).

Coggins tests for horses will also be administered by appointment only. Call (940) 937-2558 to make an appointment.

Cap Rock Cowboy Church of Roaring Springs to host celebrations May 21-22

ROARING SPRINGS—The Cap Rock Cowboy Church at 302 Broadway in Roaring Springs will have two special events this weekend, featuring performer Jeff Gore.

On Saturday, May 21 at 6 p.m. there will be free hamburgers and hot dogs and music. Bring your own lawn chairs.

On Sunday, May 22 there will be a special worship service at 10:30 a.m.
