25th annual Chili Supper Feb. 15
POST—The 25th Annual Chili Supper to benefit the Post Volunteer Fire Department will be held Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at 6 p.m. at the Post Volunteer Fire Department fire house, 202 S Avenue H.
The event is open to everyone, and the cost is a donation. Come early—chili is served until it’s all gone.

Crosbyton chamber to host ‘Meet the candidates’ Feb. 21
CROSBYTON—The Crosbyton Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a “Meet the Candidates” at the chamber quarterly luncheon Friday, Feb. 21, at noon at the Prairie Ladies Multi-cultural Center, 204 W. Aspen St.
Candidates for contested positions who will be introduced and speak at the luncheon include those for Crosby County sheriff, Ethan Villanueva, Elida Rodriquez and Jon Wilson; and for commissioner Precinct 4, Paul K. Langdon and Steve Henn.

SMHD raffling 2020 Chevy pickup, music fest tickets
ASPERMONT—The Stonewall Memorial Hospital Foundation is raffling off a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab pickup from Robert Hall Chevrolet in Jayton, to be given away March 22, 2020, at the grand opening of the new Stonewall Living Center.
Raffle tickets are being sold for $150, giving buyers the chance to win two prizes—a pickup, and two VIP tickets plus parking passes to the 10th annual Outlaws and Legends music festival held March 20–21, 2020, in Abilene. The music festival tickets will be given away February 28.
