Five communities between Spur and Lubbock on the four-lane Highway 62/82 have joined together again in 2022 for Truckin’ Along US Route 62/82 Yard Sales.
On Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., bargain hunters are invited to follow the trinket truck signs along US Highway 62/82 for 62 miles from Dickens to Idalou, east of Lubbock.
Visitors can check out vintage shops, yard sales, farmers’ markets and bargain spots along the route and stop into communities to discover places they might never get to visit without this special event.
This day provides a unique opportunity to experience local shops, barbecue places, burger joints, food vendors, parks, historic sites, museums and more.
Maps will be available at convenience stores or restaurants in Idalou, Lorenzo, Ralls, Crosbyton and Dickens.
The cost for those wishing to be listed on the maps is $10 for individuals and $25 for businesses.
