VETERANS DAY PROGRAM, SPUR All veterans and the public are invited to the Spur School annual Veterans Day program, Thursday, Nov. 11, at 9:30 a.m. in the Dog Dome Auditorium. A reception for veterans and their families will be held in the gym foyer immediately following the program with refreshments provided by Invenergy of McAdoo.

SPUR THIRD SATURDAY TRADE DAYS, sponsored by the Spur Area Chamber of Commerce, will debut at the Spur Community Center Saturday, Nov. 20, with indoor and outdoor booths available. Please contact the Chamber at 806-271-3097 to reserve your booth.
A GRATEFUL GATHERING will be held on the vacant lot opposite Spur Hardware on Saturday, Nov. 20, with baked goods for sale and a collection of canned foods to benefit the Spur Food Pantry.
THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY CHILI SUPPER will be held at the library on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
PALACE THEATER MOVIE “Paw Patrol: The Movie” will be shown at the Palace Theater Thursday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. Concessions/box office open at 6:30 p.m. Admission $5 adults, $3 for children under 12.
SPUR LATE NIGHT SHOPPING has been set for Thursday, Dec. 2, starting at 5:30 p.m. Several events, including the arrival of Santa Claus, the lighting of the Spur Christmas tree, and the Masonic Lodge pancake dinner, will be held in conjunction with Spur’s big holiday night.
