SPUR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE will host Trunk or Treat on 2nd Street between Burlington Avenue and Willard beside the Lawrence Brothers parking lot, Saturday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m., with setup from 5 to 6 p.m. Trunk-orteating is open to any local group or individual wishing to decorate a trunk and provide goodies. THE KENT COUNTY LIONS CLUB will host Trunk or Treat and a Spook-ghetti event Sunday Oct. 30, at 5:30 at the Kent County Community Center drive-through back door. The takeout meal is $8 per plate and includes spaghetti, bread, salad, green beans (no dessert). Trunk or treat and a costume contest follows outside the community center at 5:45, presented by Jayton Church of Christ.
