SPAGHETTI SUPPER Dickens County 4-H will be holding a Spaghetti Supper on May 23, 6-8 pm at the Dickens Senior Center. The $10 cost includes spaghetti, bread, salad and dessert. There will be to-go boxes also. Along with the meal there will be a silent auction. You may purchase tickets from any 4-H member, or at the door. HEALTH FAIR sponsored by the Senior Citizens Association of South Dickens County and the South Plains Association of Governments Area Agency on Aging will be held Thurs., May 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Spur Senior Citizens Center, 210 Burlington Ave. In addition to health screenings, the event will feature vendors and door prizes. Admission is free to anyone age 60 and over.
MEMORIAL DAY PROGRAM will be held Mon., May 29, at the Girard Cemetery chapel, starting at 10 a.m. Everyone is invited. Those who wish to bring refreshments, please consider cookies or brownies. Water and napkins will be furnished. Come and visit with friends and neighbors.
