In the regular monthly meeting of the Patton Springs Independent School District Board of Trustees on December 5, superintendent Bryan White provided documentation concerning the process of hiring an interim superintendent and/or delegation to perform duties required of a superintendent. White had previously announced his retirement at year’s end in the November meeting.
White also reported on current enrollment and attendance, school awards and honors, school activities, maintenance and operations, school safety and school district transportation and vehicles.
A motion was made by board member Clayt Bridge and seconded by board member Ernest Ramirez to update, revise, delete according to TASB Update 122 Instructions for (LOCAL) policies: CQB, CSA, DC, DP, EHB, EHBC, EHBCA, EIC, FEA, FFAC, FFB, FL. The motion passed.
A motion was made by Lana Burson and seconded by David Keith to approve the Afton Baptist Church lease. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Ronda Dalton and seconded by Ramirez to approve the updated stipend list. The motion passed.
Following a closed meeting, no action was taken.
The meeting ended with a motion to adjourn by Bridge and a second by Keith.
