The Spur cross country teams competed against hundreds of runners at the Plainview Invitational Meet Saturday. Jorden Zarate finished 4th at the meet with a new personal record time of 16:29. The high school boys finished 10th overall out of 29 teams from 1A to 4A, and the high school girls finished 11th out of 36 teams from 1A to 4A. Spur will be hosting the Silver Spur Meet Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019.
