POST— A bestselling romance author featured in both The New York Times and USA Today, Linda Broday, is scheduled to share a review and an excerpt of her two latest books, “Love’s First Light” and “Wildwood Healer” on November 11 at 5 p.m. at the Heritage House in Post.
This event will provide readers the chance to meet Broday in person. Attendees can look forward to engaging conversations, a special book signing, and a giveaway of her two new books.
Broday resides in the Texas Panhandle on land once traversed by American Indians and Comancheros. As a multi-published author of Western historical romance, she is deeply passionate about cowboys and the American West lifestyle. “In West Texas, it’s not uncommon to encounter cowboys,” says Broday in her biography. “They have been a significant source of inspiration for my writing. These individuals exemplify the spirit and strength I strive to capture in my characters. And honestly, there’s just something captivating about a man in tight jeans, a Stetson, and boots.”
Recently, she has ventured into Christian Western romance and historical fiction. While she cherishes her own stories, her heart yearns for the Western genre. “Growing up, I was captivated by TV westerns during their peak,” Broday said. “I fell in love with the desperados, lawmen, and resilient men and women who represented the pioneers of this rugged land filled with opportunity. They instilled in me the values, strength, and determination needed to persevere through challenges. I enjoy crafting tales about characters who could have existed during that era.”
