Chelle’s Garden, at 1122 Eubank Street in Matador, has recently opened the addition of an in-house restaurant, “The Kitchen.”
We wanted to better serve our community and those who travel from out of town to listen to music, visit with friends or purchase plants by offering a consistent option for great food. We’ve loved the food trucks that have set up at The Garden, but it was difficult to be consistent in scheduling trucks and avoid situations such as weather that prevent travel to Matador.
We’ve been working on construction and making plans for several months and all of it came to fruition on January 24th when we were able to open to the public. We’ve been overwhelmed with support from residents and other customers and we truly appreciate it!
We have an amazing staff that are passionate about providing a great experience to all of our customers. Sabrina Barclay is managing the restaurant and works closely with Rachelle Watson to develop menu items that we believe our customer base enjoys. Brenda Osborn, Lisa Martin, Lexi Osborn and Liz Morales work hard assisting in the kitchen to deliver great food.
We are still testing items to be added to the menu and will soon be offering specials and already have delicious homemade desserts available daily.
The Kitchen is open from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. We love for our guest to dine with us, but call-in orders are always welcome at (806) 347-2073.
