Elk Foundation donates $3K to support Dickens County 4-H

Jody Duggan of Spur worked with Dickens County 4-H Shooting Sports recently to secure a $3,000 grant from the Hub City Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. A check was presented to the group at the Hub City RMEF Bull Bash March 27, 2025.

“As the chapter chairman of the Hub City Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation,” said Steven Adams Jr. “I couldn’t be more pleased to have such a great committee and continued support from our local and surrounding communities who help make our mission possible.”

Adams added, “It has been a great pleasure to work with Dickens County 4-H Shooting Sports, and having Ben Harold lead us in the pledge of allegiance before the blessing of our dinner touched our attendees as I could see it in the room.”

Adams thanked those is involved in Dickens County 4-H Shooting Sports, as well the Hub City RMEF committee of Michael Briscoe, Renee Brooks, Amy Guess,Michael Palmer, Jody Duggan,Kahlie Callison and Branum Stephens. The group hopes to continue awarding grants to future generations.
