We’re thrilled to announce a special storytime event at the library on Thursday, July 24th at 1:00 p.m., featuring volunteers from Galaxy, Dickens County’s very own AI company. These inspiring guests will read aloud two STEM-themed children’s books that explore technology in imaginative ways:
• “Artificial Intelligence for Kids” by Dr. Dhoot, illustrated by Emily Skinner
• “The Great Data Center Adventure” by Ana Franco, illustrated by Titan Fahmi Both titles bring the wonders of artificial intelligence and data centers to life in kid-friendly formats, perfect for sparking young minds and future innovators. Galaxy’s visit offers an exciting opportunity for children to learn, dream and engage with technology through storytelling.
In addition to this tech-powered tale time, we’re also celebrating new arrivals to our shelves from the beloved Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne and Sal Murdocca! Our collection now includes more copies from “The Magic Tree House” title and the entire Merlin Missions series perfect for readers who crave thrilling adventures through time, mythology and mystery.
