The Inaugural Caprock Cowboy Fandango at Hotel Turkey is set for February 28 through March 2. This weekend will be a celebration of the working cowboy and the art they inspires.
From some working songwriters to artisans that capture the quintessential cowboy spirit, Hotel Turkey will be teaming with cowboys and western artists of all walks Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
They have put together a lineup of songwriters that are both working cowboys and great advocates of the culture that the cowboy life inspires, including Zack McGinn, Jimmy Burson, Charlie Stout, Haystack Foster, Seth Ward, Matt Daniel, Will Boedeker, Cade Demere, and more. Turkey Trapping Art Show February 28–March 1
In addition to the music that will be taking place during the weekend, Hotel Turkey has enlisted renowned Western photographer Scott Slusher to curate an art exhibition that will feature art of all media with artists from all walks of life ranging from full-time professional artists to working tradesmen.
The show will be featured in the Boot Shop and in the Hotel, so make plans and come enjoy all of the art. Most of the artists will have their pieces for sale so come prepared to take home a once in a lifetime piece of art.
