INSTALLATION OF NEW WINDOWS in a historically appropriate style has begun this week at the Dickens County Courthouse, after a lengthy period on order. In July 2025, county commissioners accepted a sole bid of $345,000 for replacement of 43 Peerless windows and $37,300 for three doors, which are approved by Texas Historical Commission standards for historic buildings.The repair was required to mitigate persistent leaks. | TEXAS SPUR
