Thank you to Lawrence Brothers Grocery store for furnishing the groceries for the Friends of the Library Taco Pile-on fundraising supper we are having on March 15, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the library located at 403 East Hill Street in Spur. We would also like to thank Caprock Telephone Cooperative for furnishing the bottled water for the event.
We would like to encourage everyone to join us for a great meal and great company. The library board members are bringing desserts and if you’ve attended one of our fundraising suppers you know we have some great cooks on our board. Your $10 donation will get your meal, a drink and a dessert.
If you have never been to Dickens County Spur Library, or if it has been a while since you have been there, I think you will be impressed with what we have for such a small community.
The Friends of the Library have a room full of all kinds of books that you can take for your own collection for just a donation of your choice. The room has recently been cleaned up and reorganized to make your browsing much easier.
