The Abilene Zoo is bringing their Zoo to You program in just a few short days. They will be bringing animals from their Ambassador Animal collection to visit Dickens County children here at the library on Tuesday, June 3, at 10 a.m. This will be the first program in our Collaborative Summer Reading Program. These animals vary from snakes, lizards and turtles to hawks, owls and armadillos. You never know what they’ll bring!
The programming is geared towards school-age children through 6th grade, but everyone is welcome to attend any of our summer programs.
The following Thursday, June 5 at 12:00 noon, the Family and Youth Success Program (FAYS) at Catholic Charities of Lubbock is excited to invite you to join them here at the library for A Lunch Experience, an enjoyable activity designed to strengthen family bonds. Feel free to come by yourself or bring your kids along. This is a wonderful opportunity to invest in your family or to refresh yourself.
