The Patton Springs Independent School District board of trustees held a special meeting on February 6.
In this meeting, Interim Superintendent Bryan White reported the district finance report and potential consolidation of district operations with neighboring ISD.
The Board adjourned into closed meeting pursuant to Sections 551.071 (consultation with attorney to seek and receive legal advice).
Following the closed meeting, no action was taken.
Attending the special meeting were board members Gary Bridge, Ronda Dalton, Clayt Bridge, Lana Burson and Ernest Ramirez. Shane Roberts was absent.
Clayt Bridge moved to adjourn and Ernest seconded the motion. The meeting ended.
Interim Superintendent Bryan White and Business Manager Becky Hodges were also present. Principal Sandra Ramirez was absent. Guests at the meeting were Addie Roden, David Reyna, Amanda Taylor, Kory Vaughn, Amethyst Pemberton, Cory Stringer and Angela Isbell.
In the regular monthly meeting of the Patton Springs ISD board of trustees on February 17, Interim Superintendent Bryan White discussed enrollment, attendance and awards and honors. He also discussed considering modifying grade levels available to residents of the Patton Springs ISD.
Also discussed at the meeting was the district finance report, PK Partnership, maintenance and safety. The Business Manager reported that the depository contract ends August 31, 2025 and will send packets to local banks.
