The Texas Municipal League (TML) is a non-profit organization that represents Texas cities and towns. It advocates for municipal interests, provides training, and offers technical assistance to city and town officials. TML was founded in 1913 and has been helping city leaders navigate the changing governance landscape ever since.
One of the key gatherings that TML holds each year is the Small Town Conference, which City of Spur Secretary Ashley Carothers and Alderperson Kristy Price attended earlier this month.
The TML Small Town Conference is designed for city officials and staff who serve towns and cities in Texas with a population of 15,000 or less. This meeting offers small city-focused sessions and opportunities to network to create momentum that can lead to better planning and a stronger community.
